This week many of the nation’s governors, including leaders of some of the bluest of blue states, moved to begin ending indoor mask mandates, as new Covid cases begin to decline. That puts them at odds with the CDC and the White House, who want restrictions to continue. Also this week, reports out of Afghanistan continue to be grim.
